Job summary

Talent Guardian are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturer for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team at their Wednesbury site.

You will work across electrical and mechanical maintenance on high-volume production lines, troubleshoot PLCs, drives and motors, and perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced environment. Rotating day and afternoon shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLCs and automated production machinery.
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives, motors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery and plant.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and repair automated filling, can-seaming and packing equipment.
• Complete and document routine maintenance schedules using CMMS.
