The position may require night work and is based on an industrial site with long-term career prospects for reliable candidates. Training is provided where necessary, and safety is emphasised throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a machine operator or industrial environment is desirable.
• Experience operating machinery is preferred (full training can be provided).
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Able to carry out manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring machinery safely and efficiently.
• Setting up machinery and ensuring it is running correctly.
• Making basic machine adjustments where required.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Working to production targets and deadlines.
• Loading raw materials into machines and handling finished goods.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times.
• Reporting any faults or issues with machinery promptly.
• Supporting other areas of production when required.
