Job summary

Tioxide is recruiting for 4 Laboratory Shift Analysts to join our 24/7 analytical service team at our UK site. You will perform routine and non-routine testing, ensure timely reporting and maintain strict safety and quality controls.

The role requires experience in laboratory environments, familiarity with quality systems and the ability to work night shifts and weekends as part of a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Relevant scientific or technical qualification, or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience working in a laboratory/analytical role.
• Knowledge of quality and environmental management systems.
• Ability to work a 24/7 shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing and sample preparation across in-process, raw materials and final products.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, COSHH compliance and housekeeping.
• Interpret, record and report analysis results promptly, escalating out-of-specification and trend concerns.
• Coordinate sample collection with plant teams and ensure timely receipt of samples.
• Maintain and develop knowledge of laboratory methods and instruments; assist with calibration and servicing.
• Review and update laboratory documents and procedures.
