British Steel in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, invites applications for the Buildings & Estate Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering Infrastructure team at the Scunthorpe site.

You will manage maintenance of roads, drainage, buildings and estate assets, develop maintenance plans and asset strategies, scope and supervise refurbishment projects, and oversee contractors to deliver work safely, efficiently and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities maintenance within a large industrial site.

Responsabilités

• Manage the maintenance and repair of roads, drainage systems, buildings and estate infrastructure assets.
• Develop and deliver maintenance plans, asset management strategies and improvement programmes.
• Scope, procure and supervise refurbishment, renovation and major repair projects.
• Manage contractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery and adherence to standards.
• Lead health, safety and environmental culture.
• Maintain asset information and engineering systems using SAP and other tools.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
