Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is seeking Industrial Electricians, improvers and semi-skilled mates with IPAF to join a temporary project in Wisbech. Work includes installing cable tray and wiring, using mobile platforms, and supporting on site across conveyors, robotics and process machinery.

Roles vary from skilled electrician to semi-skilled helpers; hours are long, with potential Saturday shifts and travel/lodge pay if applicable. This is a temp contract of 4 to 8 weeks with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience required or similar apprentice-level experience.
• Ability to install and maintain electrical systems and cable trays.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical cable tray, racking and cables.
• Use mobile elevated work platforms at height.
• Assist with safe removal of electrical systems and machinery.
• Support with checks and reinstatement of fittings.
• Work on conveyor lines, process machinery, palletisers, robots, motors and pumps as required.
• Assist with moving between work areas and logistics during busy periods.

Electricians Skilled & Improvers & Semi Skilled/Mates with IPAF

Working Install & Maintenance Work.

Installing electrical cable tray, racking, cables.

Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.

Working on the safe removal of electrical systems & .

larger items such as Conveyor Lines, Process Machinery, Palletiser Machines & Robot, Motor & Pump Units

Moving from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.

Hours = 0700 to 1730 or to 1900 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 4 to 8 weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract - Electrician Skilled = £28 per Hr Mon to Fri, £34 per Hr Sat, Improver/Skilled = £21 + per hr up to 60 hrs £26 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals Fork Ops £19 to £22 per hr and Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £20 + hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
