Qualifications

• Experience with fire alarm and containment installation is preferred.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Desirable qualifications include confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, ContEx, SMSTS/SSSTS trained.

Position Overview:

Job Details:

• Number of Openings: 1
• Worker Type: Permanent
• Salary: £20.21 per hour (basic)
• Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus up to 5 extra days), healthcare, company share scheme, up to 7% pension matched, referral bonus, employee rewards, life insurance, equipment provided, overtime, home-based role paid door to door
• Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment.
• Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers and switchgear.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals for project completion.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using appropriate tools.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of electrical systems and extensive experience.
• Compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations and NICEIC standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (or 2391)
• Full UK driving license
• Experience with fire alarm and containment installation
