Job summary

The Gap, Inc. in Reading is seeking an experienced Facilities Electrician to join a busy distribution site, responsible for maintaining electrical infrastructure and building services across the facility.

You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, lighting and power distribution, and ensure inspections and compliance checks are completed safely to 18th Edition standards. This permanent role operates on a 5-out-of-7 shift pattern with training and development

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent) and 18th Edition.
• Experience within facilities, commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and building services.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.

• Supporting contractors and other facilities works.
