Job summary

Gap Technical Ltd, near Reading, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain the electrical infrastructure and building services across a busy distribution site. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring safety and compliance.

You will work to keep lighting, power, and distribution boards running smoothly, support contractors, and carry out inspections.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
• 18th Edition qualifications.
• Experience in facilities, commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
• Fault finding and electrical repairs.
• Maintenance of lighting, power, distribution boards and building services.
• Electrical inspections, testing and compliance checks.
• Supporting contractors and other facilities works.
• Responding to facilities-related issues and minimising disruption.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards.
