Our client in Greater London is seeking an experienced Electrician for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of facilities. The role involves safe, high-standard electrical work, with opportunities to support project installations and minor works.

A hands-on position suited to an independent worker with strong maintenance experience. The ideal candidate will hold 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications, have maintenance experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition essential.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and responsive electrical maintenance.
• Maintaining and repairing general and specialist lighting systems.
• Working on lighting within controlled environments.
• Conducting RCD testing and associated electrical testing.
• Completing minor electrical installation and new works.
• Supporting project installations and electrical improvement works.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out routine inspections to identify potential faults or hazards.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety and electrical standards.
• Working independently and with other trades and contractors.

This is a hands-on position suited to a qualified electrician with strong maintenance experience and the ability to work independently.

• Carrying out planned and responsive electrical maintenance.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience carrying out electrical testing, including RCD testing.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams and safety procedures.
• Experience with lighting systems and minor electrical works.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

• Salary: £41,000 per annum
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
