Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a heavy industrial site in Dudley. You will perform planned maintenance, breakdown repairs on 415V, 240V, 110V and 24V systems, and assist with installations on factory machinery.

You must hold NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Maintenance, have a time-served apprenticeship, and a full UK driving licence. Shift patterns rotate weekly with days, nights and afternoons plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Maintenance or equivalent.
• Time-served apprenticeship held.
• 18th Edition desirable.
• Heavy industrial experience essential.
• Slitting/decoiling experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs.
• Fault finding on 415V, 240V, 110V and 24V AC/DC systems.
• Machinery installation and maintenance.
• Electrical drawing interpretation and PLC I/O checks.
• Overhead crane fault diagnosis.
• Lighting, alarms and emergency systems maintenance.
• Basic control panel building and CCTV design.
