Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a Whitstable manufacturing site. The role focuses on fault-finding, PPMs, mechanical repairs, hydraulics and pneumatics, with involvement in installation projects and site improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical skills, some mechanical knowledge, and experience in a busy production facility. A rotating shift pattern applies with a competitive package and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance engineer with electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS and records management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults and repair production equipment.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and condition-based monitoring.
• Support reactive maintenance and breakdown response.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and automated machinery.
• Assist with equipment installations and site improvement projects.
• Interpret diagrams and technical documentation.
• Use CMMS to manage maintenance activities and records.
• Coordinate actions from inspections and RAMS reviews.
• Support facilities maintenance across buildings and site services.
• Source components and assist purchasing requirements.
