Zusammenfassung

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Trafford Park facility. It is a hands-on role in a heavy industrial environment, primarily electrical but with mechanical tasks as needed. 37 hours/week in a 3-shift pattern with overtime opportunities and a clear path for progression.

You will diagnose faults quickly, restore production and drive reliability, working safely with the engineering team and liaising with contractors to coordinate repairs.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) essential
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable
• Experience in industrial control systems / PLC fault finding advantageous
• IOSH / H&S awareness training beneficial

Aufgaben

• Provide responsive breakdown support to keep production running safely and efficiently
• Fault find, repair and diagnose electrical systems on production machinery
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and document work
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and uptime
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety standards, risk assessments and permits to work
• Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks when required (bearings, belts, guards, alignment)
• Liaise with production teams and external contractors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activity
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and report recurring issues to improve reliability
