Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join an established industrial engineering team in Tonbridge. The role involves carrying out electrical installation work on site, wiring, testing and commissioning across large scale industrial environments.

You will read drawings, fault-find and support projects with a hands-on approach, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. A permanent position with a company vehicle and overtime opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out electrical installations on industrial or process environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Able to work independently within a site-based engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation work across industrial and process engineering environments.
• Installing and connecting electrical equipment, containment, cabling and associated systems.
• Working with electrical panels, control equipment and industrial machinery.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and installation documentation.
• Supporting electrical testing, fault-finding and commissioning activities.
• Identifying and resolving electrical installation issues on site.
• Working alongside engineers, project teams and other trades to complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, electrical safety and site compliance.
• Supporting projects across a range of industrial customer sites.
