We are looking for ambitious, driven lawyers who want to join a leading Northern Ireland defence firm. Keoghs NI has grown year on year since its inception in 2019. The successful candidate will benefit from working with an insurance industry leader representing most of the key insurance clients in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain key and new client relationships, including attending appropriate client meetings
• Manage service delivery and quality for key disease clients
• Assist in increasing Keoghs NI's profile in the Disease market through marketing, articles, blogs, training, and seminars
• Handle own caseload, including high-value, complex, or nominated cases, with appropriate assistance and performance metrics (chargeable hours and billing)
• Contribute to relevant contract tender submissions
• Develop strategies to address opponent behaviors

Working Hours

35 hours per week - Hybrid working. The primary location is the Belfast office.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Essential

• Experience in litigated defendant insurance work up to £500k, including Disease cases such as HAVS, Mesothelioma, Plaques, Asbestosis, Dermatitis, and hearing loss claims
• Ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail
• Experience with case management systems

Desirable

• Proven team-working experience within a legal environment
• Experience contributing to tenders and pricing
