Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaner (Days) to maintain high cleanliness standards at our Rocester, ST14 manufacturing site. You will join our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester.

Responsibilities include cleaning industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, and handling specialised tasks. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work with heavy cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Experience cleaning industrial environments and equipment.
• COSHH regulations awareness and safe handling of substances.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and to tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Clean paint booths, welding, and shot blast areas using jet washing and floor scrubbers.
• Manage waste collection, transportation, and storage for internal and external areas.
• Ensure stores and equipment are secured and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out reasonable tasks requested by Managers.
• Perform general sweeping, mopping and wiping of surfaces and floors.
• Empty waste oil trays and bunds.

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner (Days) to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester, ST14.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will be tohandle the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, includingcleaning of industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks.

You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.

This is a full-time, permanent day shift working Monday to Friday, with a choice of start time from 6am up to 10am , working 7 ½ hour shifts per day, totalling 37.5 hours per week. But flexibility is key, as shift times will be determined due to business needs

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning of Paint booths / Welding / Shot blast area and will involve jet washing, floor scrubber drier, confined space cleaning, high–level cleaning, and other specialist cleaning duties
• Waste management– collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
• Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers.
• General sweeping, mopping and wiping of surfaces and floors
• Emptying waste oil trays and bunds

Key requirements will include:

• Experience working to tight schedules
• Physically fit and capable of working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
• The Post will involve elements of manual handling, and you may also be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations.
• Able to work in Confined Spaces
