Job summary

Pinnacle Group in Rocester is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaner for the 6am day shift to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will join our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team and manage daily on-site cleaning of equipment, floors and work areas.

The role is full-time, working 6am to 6pm on a 4 on/4 off rota with overtime enhanced at time and a half on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning environments.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy-duty equipment.
• COSHH regulations awareness and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• CleanPaint booths, welding areas and shot blast zones; includes jet washing and floor scrubbing.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment and power tools safely (e.g., hammers, chisels, Dry Ice Blaster).
• Manage waste collection, transport and storage for on-site areas.
• Keep stores and equipment secure in line with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out reasonable tasks requested by Managers.

Job description

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner (6am Day Shift) to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester, ST14. (Transport Essential **)

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will be tohandle the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, including cleaning of industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks.

You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.

The role is Full-Time, working days 6am - 6pm on a 4 on / 4 off rolling rota - with enhanced pay of Time and a half on Saturdays and Sundays

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning of Paint booths / Welding / Shot blast area and will involve: jet washing, floor scrubber drier, confined space cleaning, high-level cleaning, and other specialist cleaning duties
• Operate industrial electrical cleaning equipment and power tools, including hammers, chisels andDry Ice Blaster, in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Waste management - collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
• Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers.

Key requirements will include:

• Experience with working to tight schedules
• Physically fit and capable of working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
• The Post will involve elements of manual handling, and you may also be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations.
• High-Level deep Cleaning (working at height)
