Job summary

212 Recruitment are assisting a market-leading manufacturer of industrial air extraction and LEV systems in recruiting a Business Development Manager for the South UK region. You will develop new business opportunities, manage customer relationships and drive revenue growth across manufacturing sectors.

You will conduct site surveys, propose technical solutions, manage projects from enquiry to handover and work closely with engineering, projects and service teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial B2B sales.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Ability to understand technical products and manufacturing processes.
• Commercially driven with a consultative approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in LEV, dust extraction, fume extraction or industrial engineering markets would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the South UK.
• Manage and convert inbound sales enquiries.
• Conduct site surveys and identify customer requirements.
• Recommend technical solutions and prepare commercial proposals.
• Manage projects from enquiry through to handover.
• Build long-term relationships with manufacturing businesses.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Work closely with Engineering, Projects and Service teams.
