Job summary

Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking an enthusiastic Individual Needs Assistant Level B to join Cottesmore St Marys RC School in Hove. The role supports pupils with SEND, works under the direction of the class teacher and INCo, and contributes to a caring, inclusive school environment.

This full-time fixed-term post runs Monday to Friday, 08:45–15:10, term time only (47.36 paid weeks per year). Closing date 7 September 2026; interview date WB 14 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or similar

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND under the direction of the class teacher and INCo
• Use inclusive teaching strategies and maintain high expectations for all
• Assist with class activities, behaviour, and safety in line with school policy
