Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children on our 3 sites – School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road. We are a vibrant, creative and inclusive school community, with outstanding Ofsted in all areas.
We are seeking an empathetic, highly motivated, resilient and team orientated Learning Support Assistant to work with us for 5 mornings per week from 8.40am until 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.
Part-time: 22.91 hours per week, term-time only.
Paid weeks per year:47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Start date: As soon as possible
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to help children engage positively with their learning and access the curriculum that respects their unique needs. Experience of working with children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia is desirable and of running phonics, reading and speech and language interventions would be desirable.
This is a federation post and successful candidates may be asked to work at any one of our 3 sites.
