Job summary

Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy in East Sussex seeks two highly motivated Individual Needs Assistants. These fixed-term roles last twelve months and involve supporting learning for small groups and individuals amid a friendly school environment. Term-time hours and 20 hours per week are specified, with pro rata pay.

Applicants should bring enthusiasm for working with primary children, good literacy and numeracy skills, and a resilient, adaptable approach. EYFS knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of small groups and individual pupils.
• Work as part of a friendly, supportive school team with professional development opportunities.
• Assist with learning activities in a two-form entry school environment.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare responsibilities as required.
• Be involved in early years/primary educational activities as appropriate.
