Position: Indirect Buyer

We have an opportunity for an Indirect Buyer to join the team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing non-car related goods (indirect) and services for various stakeholders across the company. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-end purchase of indirect goods and services
2. Pro-active communication with relevant stakeholders to achieve effective procurement
3. Prepare commercial specifications for proposal requests
4. Arrange and facilitate meetings between stakeholders and suppliers as required
5. Request quotations and negotiate optimal value with suppliers
6. Review proposals and provide summary documentation to stakeholders
7. Award orders with stakeholder agreement
8. Manage all documentation for purchases, including raising POs
9. Report delivery exceptions to stakeholders promptly to manage expectations
10. Liaise between suppliers and stakeholders to resolve supply issues
11. Assist with invoice discrepancies when needed
12. Develop knowledge of the company's ERP system and contribute to its development
13. Ensure compliance with purchasing and finance policies

Requirements:

• CIPS qualification (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is essential
• Extensive procurement experience in a fast-paced industry
• Previous ERP experience
• Effective communication with stakeholders and suppliers
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
• Flexible attitude and ability to work in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment
• Positive contribution to an inclusive culture
