An established industry player is looking for passionate Independent Reviewing Officers to ensure the safety and welfare of children and young people across North Yorkshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to high standards of care. With flexible working arrangements and the chance to chair critical meetings, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for vulnerable children. If you are a qualified Social Worker with a commitment to safeguarding, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The service operates county-wide, requiring candidates to work across various localities to meet service demands. We promote flexible working arrangements, including remote work from different bases and from home, to provide the best service. However, the post holders will need to chair complex meetings across North Yorkshire as necessary, with in-person meetings with children and families.
North Yorkshire Council is renowned for excellence. We seek Independent Reviewing Officers with diverse experience and skills, and we welcome applicants interested in relocating.
