Job summary

Tan Ward Limited is seeking Partner-level lawyers and senior associates with an established portable practice to join as self-employed consultants in the United Kingdom. You’ll manage your own client relationships and matters, enjoying autonomy, support from a respected brand, and a transparent fee-sharing structure.

This model has no billing targets and no office-base requirement, with back-office support and ongoing collaboration within a community of high-calibre lawyers.

Qualifications

• Partner-level lawyers or senior associates with a portable practice.
• Approximately 8 years’ PQE or more, flexible for a strong track record.
• Commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset; able to run a practice as a business.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own client relationships and matters within the firm’s infrastructure.
• Operate with full autonomy over practice, clients, and working style.
• Leverage the firm’s brand and back-office support while earning via fee-sharing.
