Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator for an ongoing self-employed role in Cannock, working on council void properties and internal decorating. You will travel between sites with your own vehicle and tools, delivering high-quality finishes on domestic properties for a social housing contractor.

This position offers weekly CIS payments and long-term continuity, with reliable, consistent work across void properties in the Cannock area.

Qualifications

• Previous painting and decorating experience.
• Experience in social housing or void properties desirable.
• Own vehicle and tools.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of internal painting and decorating.
• Preparing surfaces, including filling, sanding and making good.
• Painting walls, ceilings, doors, skirting boards and woodwork.
• Completing full redecoration works within void council properties.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
