Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician for a standalone, on-site workshop role in Kettering. You will own day-to-day operations, working on high-spec, prestige vehicles with autonomy and pride in quality work.

The ideal candidate has NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, strong engine overhaul and diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving licence. Weekdays only, no weekends, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven background in deep mechanical work on high-end vehicles.
• Formal automotive qualifications at level 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to work unsupervised with strong diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all standalone technical operations within the workshop as the primary technician.
• Execute deep-level mechanical repairs, including engine block teardowns, major overhauls, custom rebuilds.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic fault-finding and root-cause analysis across varied, high-end vehicle setups.
• Self-manage repair timelines and prioritize daily workshop flow to deliver exceptional standards.
• Maintain clean, organized workshop bays and uphold high safety standards.
