Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced engineer to perform on-site independent witnessing of NRP manufacturing processes at Derby, with occasional travel to Birchwood, Bristol, and supplier sites. The role emphasizes impartial oversight, reporting, and technical compliance, working closely with the INA team, MoD customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND, or apprenticeship in engineering with hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and testing techniques for high reliability equipment.
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC and applicable safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• On-site Independent Third-Party Witnessing of NRP manufacturing processes, methods and testing.
• Provision of impartial, balanced and proportionate advice to the MoD in support of future NRPs manufacturing.
• Represent INA at meetings with MoD and their contractors.
• Preparation of reports to articulate and brief findings.
• Compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory standards and information security requirements.
