Unknown Manufacturer in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer focused on NPI within a regulated, high-integrity manufacturing environment with a strong safety emphasis. This senior role owns quality delivery from feasibility through to production readiness.

You will apply APQP and structured NPI disciplines, act as the quality authority in cross-functional teams, and drive robust quality controls including FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Cp/Cpk.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on ownership of APQP/NPI quality throughout lifecycle.
• NPI quality delivery from prototype through production readiness.
• Experience in regulated sectors (nuclear/defence/aerospace) preferred.
• Ability to lead investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Own NPI quality delivery across new product introduction and major projects, from feasibility through to production readiness.
• Act as the quality authority within cross-functional project teams.
• Drive APQP deliverables through the NPI stage gates.
• Author and maintain the NPI quality framework: control plans, FMEA and FME procedures, capability and inspection regimes, and quality gates.
