Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Community Housing Support worker for Rugby, 3‑month contract with a local authority. You will support residents in Independent Living Schemes to maintain independence and wellbeing, delivering housing management and safeguarding where needed.

Role involves promoting health, safety, and community engagement, with travel between schemes and on-site work to cover activities and events. Full UK driving licence required, IT skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent living support and housing management across allocated schemes.
• Conduct wellbeing visits and expand support where needed.
• Raise safeguarding concerns with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Promote health and wellbeing through activities and community engagement.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver schemes and services.
• Ensure residents participate in activities and maintain social inclusion.
• Carry out housing management duties and liaise with council departments as required.
• Complete fire safety and health & safety checks and report actions.
