Job summary

Anglia Care Trust in Ipswich is seeking a Supported Housing Officer to work across our Housing Related Support Services and help Service Users achieve life skills and move toward independent living. You will support individuals with complex needs to meet their goals in areas such as health, budgeting, training and employment.

The role is based in Ipswich with possible involvement in the wider Suffolk area; a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for travel between properties

• Experience supporting adults with complex needs.
• Ability to promote life skills and independent living.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with complex needs to gain life skills and move to independent living.
• Assist with individual support plans covering health, budgeting, training and employment.
• Cover Ipswich and possibly wider Suffolk area; support the wider housing team when needed.
