Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a patient, calm Personal Assistant to support an 18-year-old man in Norwich.

The role focuses on developing independence through community activities, travel support, meal planning, and everyday tasks, with a flexible six hours per week schedule and £12.89 per hour (employed). You will work with the family to provide clear guidance, reassurance, and ongoing positive prompts, while safeguarding privacy and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support to access social activities and community opportunities.
• Support with public transport and travelling, especially to new places.
• Help to navigate community environments and road safety.
• Encourage household tasks, shopping, meal planning and preparation.
• Promote social confidence and independence while respecting R's pace.
