Independent Financial Adviser – Location of clients Kent/Maidstone

This is an opportunity to service and build upon an existing client portfolio on an employed or self-employed basis, delivering a consistent and outstanding client experience.

In this role, you will understand your clients' current and future financial goals and formulate easy-to-understand financial strategies, guiding your clients to financial independence.

This role offers home-based / remote working with access to office locations if preferred.

Key Responsibilities as Our Independent Financial Adviser Will Include

1. Developing an understanding of the AFH Financial Group's strategy and core values, representing the AFH brand in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Complying with AFH's advice process, maintaining regulatory competence and KPI standards to ensure all activities meet the business standards. Continually driving improvements in quality of advice and client files.
3. Maintaining Fit and Proper, and TCF requirements, in accordance with AFH Financial Group's processes and procedures, and keeping personal CPD records and knowledge up to date.
4. Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g., disclosure requirements, costs of services provided, and advised products.
5. Following the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes.
6. Reviewing and responding to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances, keeping introducers and clients updated with new financial products or legislative changes affecting their pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans.
7. Acquiring and developing new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers through personal business planning, referrals, and company lead generation programs.
8. Optimising all marketing opportunities, including social media and networking with introducers and other professionals to develop new business.
9. Developing and maintaining good client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars, and ongoing feedback to the team and Contact Centre.
10. Contacting corporate and individual clients to set up meetings, either in-office, at clients' homes or businesses, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

What we are looking for in our ideal Independent Financial Adviser:

1. Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and maintaining CF30 status according to FCA regulations.
2. A client-centric approach with a well-presented, articulate manner, and dedication to doing the right thing for clients.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism, and IT skills to embrace virtual/digital communication methods.
4. Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business development, building relationships with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, and professional and retail clients.
