Job summary

South Devon College is seeking an Independent End Point Assessor to join our End Point Assessment team in Paignton. You will assess Level 6 engineering standards for apprentices, including Product Design and Development Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer, using online and face-to-face methods to ensure occupational competence.

You will bring at least five years’ industry experience and a solid understanding of EPA requirements, with proficiency in Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.

Qualifications

• You’ll have at least five years’ recent industry experience in engineering or a closely related field.
• You’ll be able to assess Level 6 Product Design and Development Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Electrical/Electronic Technical Support Engineer standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous and impartial EPA assessments across online and face-to-face environments.
• Support quality assurance, safeguarding and continuous improvement of the assessment process.
