Job summary

ST HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL is seeking Intermediate Care Support Workers to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering reablement services. You will work with adults 18+ to promote independence and support them to live safely at home, travelling around the St Helens area when needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 3 in Promoting Independence is advantageous.
• First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff in the Contact Cares service to deliver multidisciplinary reablement.
• Support adults aged 18+ to regain and maintain independence at home.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills with clients, carers and colleagues.
