Job summary

Lifetime Group, Innovate Awarding, is recruiting an Assessor to work with apprentices and their employers to plan and carry out assessments, evaluating skills, knowledge and behaviours against the apprenticeship standard for their role. You’ll support learners to achieve standards and progress within a supportive, compliant environment.

• Must have recent relevant experience in the occupation or sector (level 3+ in last 2 years).
• Assessor qualification or willingness to work toward one.
• Hands-on experience in Early Years and a passion for the sector.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Familiar with MS Office and other IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out assessments with apprentices and employers against the apprenticeship standard.
• Assess skills, knowledge and behaviours demonstrated by learners.

What will you be doing?

Working with apprentices and their employers to plan and carry out their assessment, assessing their skills, knowledge and behaviours against the apprenticeship standard for their role.

What will you bring to the role?

• Must have recent relevant experience of the occupation or sector to at least occupational level 3 gained in the last 2 years or significant experience of the occupation or sector.
• An Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• A a proven passion for and hands-on experience within Early Years
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Familiar with MS Office and other IT systems (training will be provided for Proficient).
