Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is hiring Adults Support Workers (Promoting Independence Assistants) based in Worcester with travel across the county. This permanent role offers flexible day, evening and weekend shifts, with immediate starts and both part-time and full-time contracts discussed at interview.

You’ll support customers to regain independence after hospital discharge, aiding with personal care, mobility and meals, while encouraging them to do as much as possible themselves.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and be proactive.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients regain independence after discharge.
