Job summary

Honeycomb Group in Stoke-on-Trent seeks a Duty Practitioner to support residents in our male or female supported accommodation schemes who have experienced homelessness. You will be the first point of contact to help residents settle in, build skills and confidence to live independently, and access the support they need.

You will develop tailored support plans, manage a varied caseload, connect with partner agencies, and help people achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level with Maths and English.
• Experience in front-line support within busy service environments.
• Experience with multi-agency working and in supported housing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, organised and able to manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face of support, helping people access advice, services and practical assistance.
• Build positive relationships and help customers overcome challenges to achieve goals.
• Connect with partner agencies to ensure right support at the right time.
• Manage a varied caseload, create tailored support plans and track progress.
• Empower people to build confidence and improve wellbeing.
