Hyde is seeking an Income Processing Officer Apprentice in Chichester to join the Income Services team. This Level 3 apprenticeship lasts 18-19 months and offers hands-on financial processing experience while studying Business Administration.

Hyde is looking for an Income Processing Officer Apprentice to join our Income Services team. This is a great opportunity to start your career in business administration and financial processing, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a Business Administration Apprenticeship.

As an Income Processing Officer Apprentice at Hyde, you will help ensure customer payments are processed accurately and allocated to the correct accounts. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you ll develop practical skills in payment processing, reconciliation, administration and financial data while building your knowledge of Income Services and the wider housing sector.

Key Duties

• Process and reconcile customer payments, including Housing Benefit, DWP payments, Direct Debits and Standing Orders.
• Help investigate payment discrepancies and ensure payments are allocated accurately to the correct customer accounts.
• Support the review of unpaid Direct Debits and suspense accounts, helping the team minimise the risk of arrears and failed payments.
• Assist with daily and monthly bank and financial reconciliations, including supporting the investigation of discrepancies.
• Work with colleagues across Hyde while developing your skills in administration, financial processing, customer service and business operations.
