Job summary

Bromford is seeking a Housing Income Officer to join our team, managing a patch of customer accounts and supporting customers to sustain their tenancies and improve their financial wellbeing. This role involves taking ownership of income collection across your patch, providing advice on rent, arrears, budgeting and welfare benefits, and preparing cases for court when needed.

We're looking for a Housing Income Officer to join our team, managing a patch of customer accounts and supporting customers to sustain their tenancies and improve their financial wellbeing.

In this role, you'll take ownership of income collection across your patch, working closely with customers to provide advice, guidance and practical support. From helping maximise income and manage rent accounts to preparing cases for court where needed, you'll play a key role in delivering positive outcomes for both our customers and the business.

You'll also be part of our Place-based way of working. This means you'll be embedded within a local community, working alongside neighbourhood and other frontline colleagues to deliver a joined-up, customer-focused service. By being visible and connected in your patch, you'll build strong relationships, understand local needs, and take a proactive approach to supporting sustainable tenancies and stronger neighbourhoods.
