Job summary
Age Scotland is seeking two enthusiastic Advice and Income Maximisation Advisers to join our helpline team. You will provide high-quality information, advice and income maximisation support to older people, families and carers across Scotland, helping them understand their rights and access financial support.
Based in Edinburgh with a mix of office and home working, you will contribute to delivering our advice services and occasionally support training sessions, in person or virtually.
Qualifications
- Experience of welfare rights, money advice, benefits advice or income maximisation is advantageous.
- Transferable advice and support experience welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality information, advice and income maximisation support to older people, their families and carers.
- Help people understand their rights and access financial support.
- Contribute to the delivery of our advice services and training sessions (virtual or in person).
