Job summary

The John of Gaunt School in Bath seeks an enthusiastic teacher to join the Specialist Inclusion Base for cohorts in Years 7 to 9 with SEND, including autism. You will plan using EHCP outcomes to deliver a highly differentiated curriculum, promoting communication, independence and progression.

You will work with families, external professionals and Teaching Assistants to ensure every pupil receives tailored support, wellbeing and growth opportunities in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching pupils with SEND.
• Ability to use EHCP outcomes to inform planning.
• Ability to work with families and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, personalised learning for Years 7–9 with SEND.
• Differentiate curriculum to promote achievement, communication and independence.
• Collaborate with TAs, SEND colleagues and school leaders to support inclusive provision.
