Job summary

Cirencester Deer Park School is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Learning Leader to join our SEND team, coordinating reviews, supporting learning and wellbeing, and liaising with families and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will work with the Assistant Head SENDCo, lead review meetings, supervise Teaching Assistants, and uphold safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
  • Understands the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive education.
  • Experience collaborating with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills.
  • Able to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Able to lead review meetings and contribute to pupil support planning; support pupils with diverse needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high aspirations for every pupil.
