Job summary

Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming school in Slough in their search for an Assistant SENCO. This full-time role focuses on supporting pupils with SEND and helping the school deliver high-quality inclusive practice.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Holds SEND qualifications or willing to work towards them.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess pupils with SEND.
  • Coordinate and deliver targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with staff, families and external agencies.
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain SEND documentation.
  • Support EHCP reviews and annual reviews.
  • Promote inclusive classroom practices and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to SEND and inclusion strategy.
