Job summary

The Bolsover School invites applications for two Teaching Assistants. The role is 32.5 hours per week, permanent, term-time only, with salaries on the Redhill Academy Trust Pay Scale (£22,824.01–£24,713.14 per annum, FTE £27,004–£29,239). Start date as soon as possible.

You will support students with SEND, helping them build confidence, independence and resilience in a inclusive secondary school environment, under guidance of teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with students with a wide range of SEND.
• Ability to support learning and wellbeing in a secondary school context.
• Willingness to work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted support.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guide the education of students with challenging learning difficulties.
• Support students' welfare and wellbeing in and out of lessons.
• Assist with classroom activities and classroom management under direction of teachers.
