Job summary

Lemington Riverside Primary School in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking three Support Assistants (Level 2, Grade N3) on a fixed-term basis from 16 November 2026 to 16 July 2027. The posts require a TA qualification or QTS, and the ability to work across the primary age range with pupils with diverse needs.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term-time only, with potential overtime in wrap-around care, and a supportive leadership team behind you. Closing date 16 October, interviews 4 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Must hold an approved teaching assistant qualification or have QTS.
• Experience supporting pupils with diverse needs is desirable.
