Job summary

EKC Group is seeking an Inclusive Learning Tutor to assess and support students with learning difficulties across our colleges. You will provide 1:1 learner support, plan focused tasks and help design, deliver and evaluate focused study programmes.

You will supervise learning support staff, organise monthly meetings and contribute to staff training. You will also participate in EHCP consultations and annual reviews for Level 2–3 learners.

Qualifications

• Passion for overcoming barriers to learning
• Highly organised, creative; able to plan and teach engaging sessions
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage reluctant learners
• Proven people management skills to supervise learning support staff

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate support programmes for learners
• Manage a team of learning support staff with day-to-day supervision and meetings
• Contribute to in-service staff training and development
• Involve in EHCP consultation process for students hoping to attend EKC Group colleges
• Conduct annual reviews for students with EHCPs to assess progress and future destinations
