Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in Ipswich is seeking an Inclusive Learning Tutor for One Sixth Form College. This 1 FTE post (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) provides student-centred support to young people with SEND, working with teachers and ILAs to promote engagement and progress.

You will mentor students, set SMART targets through Personal Development Reviews, support attendance and wellbeing, deliver bespoke interventions, monitor progress and collaborate with families and external services to

Qualifications

• Ability to mentor students and support learning for SEND.
• Experience collaborating with teachers, ILAs and external services.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students and set SMART targets through PD Reviews.
• Support attendance, progression and wellbeing of students.
• Deliver bespoke interventions and monitor progress.
• Provide classroom support and collaborate with families and services.
• Support EHCP students to receive the right assistance.
