Job summary

One Sixth Form College in Ipswich is seeking a passionate Inclusive Learning Tutor to join our Supported Learning team and provide student-centred support to young people with SEND. You will mentor students, set SMART targets, and support attendance, progression and wellbeing.

You will deliver bespoke interventions, monitor progress, provide classroom support where needed, and collaborate with families and external services to ensure EHCP holders receive the right support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, including SEND.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to inclusive learning.
• Knowledge of EHCP processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students and set SMART targets through Personal Development Reviews.
• Provide attendance, progression and wellbeing support.
• Deliver bespoke interventions and monitor progress.
• Provide classroom support and collaborate with families and external services.
• Support students with EHCPs to receive appropriate assistance.

• Salary: £31,015 - £34,812 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking a passionate Inclusive Learning Tutor to join our Supported Learning team and provide student-centred support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work alongside teachers and ILAs to promote engagement, overcome barriers to learning, and support students and families to achieve positive outcomes.

The role involves mentoring students, setting SMART targets through Personal Development Reviews, and supporting attendance, progression and wellbeing. You will deliver bespoke interventions, monitor progress, provide classroom support where needed, and work collaboratively with colleagues, families and internal and external services to ensure students, particularly those with EHCPs, receive the right support.
