Job summary

One Sixth Form College in Ipswich is seeking a Personal Progress Tutor to provide high-quality academic and pastoral support to a defined student cohort across college departments. The role focuses on monitoring progress, developing targets, and enabling students to achieve their full potential.

You will plan and deliver a tutorial programme, monitor attendance and wellbeing, and make timely referrals to careers advice and safeguarding services.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teaching staff and support teams.
• Experience in safeguarding and wellbeing referrals to relevant services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an engaging tutorial programme for students.
• Monitor academic progress and personal development and review SMART targets.
• Provide targeted support to address barriers to achievement and progression.
