Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with literacy, numeracy and personal care needs at the Rotherham Campus. The role involves close collaboration with curriculum staff to tailor learning paths and ensure inclusive daily support.

Experience in SEND/ALS/EHCP frameworks and a strong GCSE baseline in English and Maths are preferred, with daily use of Microsoft and Google tools. Roles are casual, with term-time hours and additional training opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Classroom experience supporting students in an educational setting.
• SEND, ALS, and EHCP frameworks understanding.
• GCSE English and Maths (A-C/9-4) or working towards them.
• Daily use of Microsoft and Google packages.
• Reliable, strong communication, and flexible to changing classroom needs.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through literacy, numeracy, and personal care to unlock potential.
• Collaborate with curriculum staff to plan, prepare, and review tailored learning paths.
• Support behaviour and track student milestones and outcomes.
• Assist with monitoring progress and outcomes.
