Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with literacy, numeracy and personal care needs at the Rotherham Campus. The role involves close collaboration with curriculum staff to tailor learning paths and ensure inclusive daily support.

Experience in SEND/ALS/EHCP frameworks and a strong GCSE baseline in English and Maths are preferred, with daily use of Microsoft and Google tools. Roles are casual, with term-time hours and additional training opportunities provided.

Location: Rotherham Campus, Rotherham

Salary: £12.96 per hour plus holiday pay

Vacancy Type: Various hours available on a casual basis starting August/September 2026

Working up to 36 weeks per year (Term Time Only plus 1 training week)

You will have

• Classroom Experience: Proven track record supporting students within an educational setting.

Department Info

As the Assistive Technology and Inclusion Specialist, you report to the Digital Learning Manager but work in close partnership with the Quality Team and SEND Leads. You are the bridge between the technical infrastructure managed by IT and the individual educational needs of our most vulnerable learners.

Your role ensures that the "Digital & AI Strategy" is truly universal, making you the person the department relies on to ensure our innovations are inclusive by default, not by exception.
